DR. GRACE CHO
Founder & CEODr. Grace Cho is the Founder and CEO of Dr. Cho Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Inc. Dr. Cho received her Ph.D. from UCLA in Special Education with an emphasis on Autism. She founded ABT in April 2015, in order to help children with autism, develop independent lives, improving their social and functional communication skills, so that they can interact effectively with their peers and adults. Prior to this, she worked as BCBA-D for Alexandria City Public Schools. She supervised classroom teachers of children with autism, training them in ABA intervention techniques, to improve these children’s behavior and performance at their schools. Dr. Cho is also Adjunct Professor at GMU, George Mason University, where she teaches graduate students in ABA. In 2006, Dr. Cho established a board-approved ABA graduate program at NSU, Nam Seoul University in Korea, the first program of its kind in Asia. She served at NSU as Chief Professor of the graduate ABA department, teaching graduate students and supervising other professors. She was also the Director of the Behavioral Therapy Clinic at NSU. KIMBERLY A. ROJAS
Clinical DirectorKimberly A. Rojas is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Virginia. Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Troy University and her Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Western Connecticut State University. Kimberly developed a passion for ABA in 2014 while working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) providing 1:1 home-based ABA therapy. She understood the positive impact ABA can have on her patients’ lives and decided to become a BCBA. She has worked with children and adolescents ranging from 2-18 years of age. Her experience in ABA is very diverse, including clinical, home, school, and community-based settings. Kimberly is bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish. She specializes in teaching social skills and independent living skills.
RASHAWN JEFFERS
BCBARaShawn Jeffers is an enthusiastic and passionate Licensed Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. RaShawn is passionate about the dissemination of Behavior Analysis as natural science and how it can help improve all human performance and human interactions across multiple environments. RaShawn describes herself as a natural-born behaviorist. Before becoming a BCBA, RaShawn has held the BCaBA credential since 2019 and the RBT credential in 2015. Her experience includes providing direct behavioral support and behavioral consultation to clients in environments, such as day support, community, residential and in-home settings. Her professional interest includes performance management, individualized treatment planning, functional communication skills, and RBT training.
BRITTANY PERKINS
BCBA Brittany Perkins is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Virginia. Brittany earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Old Dominion University and her Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. In 2014, Brittany began working with children from Birth to 3 years old as an Early Interventionist in South Carolina. It was as an Early Interventionist, that she developed a passion for working with children diagnosed with ASD. Brittany worked one-on-one with parents to guide them through the process of their child being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and then witnessed how difficult it was for them to find ABA services. In 2017 Brittany became a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and provided 1:1 direct therapy to children and then became a BCBA in 2020. Her experience includes providing services to individuals ages 18 months to 23 years old and in a variety of settings including in a clinic, home, school, and community-based settings. Brittany specializes in functional communication training and gaining compliance.
SERENA BURGESS
QASP-S, QMHP
Serena is a Qualified Autism Service Practitioner - Supervisor (QASP-S), Qualified Mental Health Practitioner (QMHP), and a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Serena earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from The University of Virginia's College at Wise. Serena received her Master Of Science in ABA from Capella University in October of 2022 and will sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst Exam. Serena first began working in the field in 2016. She has provided one on one home-based therapy with clients of diverse cultures and backgrounds and many disabilities. She has worked with children and adolescents ranging from 2-17 years old. Serena continues to work in the field of ABA, as she realizes the positive impact she has made in these people’s lives. She looks forward to many more rewarding years working with clients and their families. Just seeing the smile on her client’s face during an ABA session lights up her day!

SYLVIA REYES
Lead RBTSylvia is one of our lead Registered Behavior Therapists at Dr. Cho Behavioral Therapy, and is happy to offer support and expertise to our newest team members. She began her specialization in serving people with disabilities 10 years ago, with volunteer work in church and community groups. She has a very well-ranged amount of experience in all age groups from toddlers to elderly individuals across settings, including direct support in home, community-based outings, teacher assistance in school settings, and clinical-based interventions. With over 50 hours of observed Speech and Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy Appointments, Sylvia is able to provide very holistic perspectives in ABA support for families in need of assistance from our team. Sylvia currently obtains a Bachelor’s Degree of Science from the University of Mary Washington and is continuing her studies to become a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst on our team.
